Previously Dave was occupying the Fortress of Daveitude in SF when he met Charlie.

They closed the Fort and travelled the world, eventually returning to the Bay Area where they opened the Oakland Fort.

It's about 4,000 square feet located in Oakland. It seemed like a good idea, until Dave and Charlie learned about the incredible raging incompetence of the Oakland Police Department.
